View Full Version : Zooming in and Saving...
I have been wondering about this for awhile. Though it is not extremely practical, I am just wondering how, and if it can be done.
Say I want to zoom into an image all the way, good its all pixelated now. Next, I want to save that Image as it is, all pixelated. Is this possible, and how?

take a screenshot, then crop it down to what you need, i do it quite often when making thumbnails and preview images, i used grabitpro6 just for the ease of use but you can do it just the same with windows
...should of thought of the obvious, a screenshot. ThanX.
you could also try resizing by changing the resample modes...i think you can get a similar effect but monks way is easier i guess..i just wanted to give you an alternative :)

easier to just do just screen shot, open a new image in PS (it will already be set to the size of your screenshot), and then do ctrl+v.
Also, when u shrink down a webpage, you can do either alt+print screen or ctrl+printscreen (dont remember which one) and it will take a screenshot of just the program that you have open. (useful for when ur making tutorials and wanna take a screener of the optioins page)
Respect.

filter->pixelate->mosaic. 'nuff said.
filter->pixelate->mosaic. 'nuff said.
Didn't want to use that for this. I wanted the actual zoom in, not just a pixelated 'look'.
ThanX everyone.
