Timeout error

Hi!

Just to make notice of. I'm getting a lot of "timeout" errors trying to browse GF. This never happend before, and I's only on GF..

Location: Brazil

128kbps ADSL

since the start of this week..

how often?? well, almost everytime...

Sometimes I click the link like 3 times before I can get anywere. Sometimes gets really frustrating, hehe..

Don't know if it's GF's problem, or my ISP's problem or my problem. Just letting you know this is happening with me. (don't know about other ppl)

hmm ya I get it sometimes when I try to post.

I just refresh + click submit again and it works.

if u click the link once, refresh, and then try again. i know it's a bitch, but it works for me.

When you're running into this problem post a trace route from your location.

btw the stats on this server is:

root@central [~]# w
23:35:28 up 28 days, 20:55, 2 users, load average: 0.49, 0.39, 0.34

This is a brand new 2.8 GHZ P4 that was setup 29 days ago.

I haven't experienced this.

About 2 weeks ago I had this problem, but I found out it was because my ISP was upgrading the lines from 56k to ADSL :D

If you follow Samuel's advice, you would probably find out what the problem is, this being his speciality and all heh heh

I honestly think the problem's not with GF though because it works fine for me :)

Yes. I don't think the problem is with GF, but considering this is the only site I can notice this problem, it cost nothing to ask here.. ^_^
