I work for a small engraving business and was wondering if it was possible to take a logo off the internet and vectorize it. I'm not sure if this could be done using Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro or any other graphics program for that matter. I've tried some trial version programs such as WinTopo and TraceLine but haven't had any luck. Basically I'm looking for a simple/quick program if at all possible. Any suggestions??

Adobe Streamline (http://www.adobe.com/products/streamline/main.html) might do the trick =)

ive never tried streamline but i hear its really good...i usually vectorize it in flash though i plan to give streamline a shot
It's hit and miss, it's a bit like threshold in ps, i've never been able to get anything out of it that looks vectorised in the classic way, it really does resemble threshold. I don't think there will be any 'easy way outs' for converting a logo, good old tracing with the pen tool or illustrator (or flash/freehand) will probably be the only route for a nice smooth job
