View Full Version : question...over here
I dont really know whow to go about asking this, but Im making a little design and im stuck. See, this is what im going for:
A green bar in the center stretching to both ends, with green hexagone, outline in black(its on a block bg, seperates the green hexagons) and towards the back they start pixelating (?) to the end, i cant figure out how to do the pixels, the pixel filters dont give me the desred effect either. Can someone help me?
thx

as in the bar starts pixelating towards the left??? i dunno... proably make a pattern and then do it... post the picture back and draw over it what you want to do... then maybe we'll be able to help you out better...
... i didnt understand what you just said, lol.
im trying to get the hexagons to start pixelating on the right side, like they are breaking up and stuff.

i never said anything about the bar/line pixelating. only the hexagons. all i was is thatif someone could please tell me, or show me a tut or somethng, on how i can make the right side of the hexagons to star pixelatig so they look as if they are breaking apart, but in pixels. the pixelation filtes dont give me the effect im looking for either.
thx, yet again

hmmm maybe if you could make a brush and set its scattering settings to random? you could do that on one layer and have the original hexagon below and mask the one on top(i.e. the one where you did the pixelatd look on)
...I don't know how to do that. I'm not an advanced user. : (
