Hi,

The girl is cute as she is, but I tried to achieva a more commercial look. Original photo is taken by Bloodflower and thanks to him for letting me use his photo.

I think that instead of making her eyes darker, you should have kept the colour or have made her eyes piercing blue or baby blue. It would fit better for a Commercial look.

Just my two cents, man. Nice job none the less.

for 20 mins that is rather good :) nice one

How do you go about this...like what stages/things do you tackle first and what is the order of taking the image from A to B so to speak

A couple things bother me.
- There's like this small area around her mouth that is darker than the rest of her face.
- Her fair is far too blurry in some places.
- Lips a liiiittle too saturated.

Aside from that, you did a nice job of removing the marks on her skin and things like that, which is the main challenge. Good job.

Thanks,

Stages :
- removing imperfections (zits, wrinkles...)
- smoothing the skin
- altering eye color
- whitening the teeth
- removing red areas (cheeks, around the nose...)
- makeup
- color correction
- etc...

@Funtastik : Yes, thereīs a darker area on the upper lip. But I donīt think it bothers me. And the blurriness of the hair was something I couldnīt do anything.

Cool touch up Builtdown. 3D stuff isn't the only talent you've got, that's cool to see!

@Skitzy: try the "healing brush" instead (for these types of retouching). It does practically the same but it keeps the texture much better.

jup! just dont duoble tap to often cauze healing @ the same point twice means over sharpen @ that area!

Is healing on photoshp 7.0, seen as I've never used it before.

Healing tool was introduced in PS 7.0 if I remember correctly.

Good so far.
I think you've removed too much of the red in her face and made her very yellow though.

Well done, a little over done for my tastes. The eyes are too dark IMO.

she looks a bit like Buffy (you know, the vampire slayer)
