A moment of your time, please:
http://pleasewipeyourfeet.com/testorange/test2.htm
This is the ugliest thing I've ever put together, but it's really the source that matters and not the look of the page itself. It is a fluid 3 column design done all in CSS that works in most of the major browsers. I've tested it on quite a few things: IE5 Mac, Opera, Safari, Firefox/Mozilla, Netscape 7, and IE5+ for Windows. The only thing that doesn't work in all browsers is the centering of the banner up top. I didn't really care so much about that when I did it...I was going more for the fluid 3 columns. When I use this, I tend to put the actual top banner in the middle column; saves me some headaches and it actually gives things a cleaner look to me.
Feel free to copy, paste, and butcher the CSS and the HTML to your hearts content. I offer this free of charge. I have to do something for you people.
Also, if you link this anywhere, please put a link back to glasswings.org (http://glasswings.org) with it. Since I'm offering hosting, people who are interested in this may also be interested in that.
