as a final touch, maybe make a new layer, fill it with white and run a Filters>Sketch>Halftone Pattern filter across the top (change blend to Soft Light @ +/- 50%) to get that old comic book look:

There's a lot of good stuff on that site, but you just gotta sift through and find what ya need/like.

I got a list of some of the better links from that site, PM me if ya want it.

There's a sweet one about adding realistic fangs to people in pictures.
