Hi all,

I have client that wants me to do a business card for him. The problems is that his original card had 3 logos on it, and he doesn't have the files for any of the logos.

I am wondering if it is possible to scan his original business card to obtain the logos, so I can use them on his new card. I just don't know if they will print clean and/or what resolution to scan it at if it will work.

Any help is appreciated!

best bet is to scan the logos and then trace them in illustrator or another decent vector drawing program.

Good idea! I didn't even think of that. Thanks!

Either way, you can scan them and use them as long as it's not a raster image.

There will be some loss of quality, obviously, but if you have a good enough scanner it wont be visible to the human eye

Could you please stop advertising your company in every thread, because nobody cares. We "all" know how to work the shit out of photoshop.

Thanks.
