why is "high powered" a good thing when dealing with electronics?

The company emphasizes that it is "high-powered" because they are selling callboxes that run off of solar power (and optional AC power if available). The competition also runs off of solar power, but their callboxes often die out due to lack of power, so this company likes to emphasize that power is not a problem for this product.

bad idea to say it's high-powered - from an engineering point of view that says to me it is has a high power CONSUMPTION not PRODUCTION. [I'm 3rd year BEng[Photovoltaics and Solar Energy]. Better to emphasise [imho] high efficiency, and high power capacity...

and don't forget to put the damn things in the right place - 100% sun, minimal shading otherwise they are destined to fail...

the companys sales pitch for years has been "high-powered", so they may not want me to change it...but if i can, i will.
