Printer Help!

I've got a problem hopefully someone can help. I was given a project that was a 2 color job. One being black and the other being a PMS color. My printer has been telling me that I need to call out the PMS in the file so he didn't want a RGB file or CMYK file. I chose the PMS color and now he (the printer) says the file was not prepared properly. Anyone know what the problem is?

What pogram are you using. Probably Photoshop, and that would be the reason.

What you wanna do, is make your image mode "duotone" and save as eps
That way the printer will be able to take out the two coloures seperately...
