I was just wondering if anyone could direct me to a good tutorial on how to make stars in Photoshop.

Be more specific. What type of stars? Actual detailed stars? Stars in the sky? Custom shape stars? Maybe provide a sample if possible ;)

heh, this is really freaking phreaky. I just came here to ask on a tut to make a custom shape star. >_>

But I don't mean like the one that comes with ps. I need one like his:

There is a star in custom shapes, just like that one you pointed out

there is a polygon tool in the shapetoolbar, in its option press star

Oops, I actually did the tutorial for Fever's request and sample star (as I used it in my final pic in the tutorial) not the type of star you wanted. Sorry. Have you tried Flaming Pare's plug-ins? They have moon, planet and sun filters you can use in PS.
