very large image in photoshop plz help!!

i'm in desprite need of some help, i need to create a very large image it will be around 5 gig in total, the problem is photoshop wont let me do it, it says that the largest image i can create is only 2 gig.

The main problem is the dimentions limit in photoshop, what i need is at least twice the dimentions of the photoshop limit, so im really at a loss here.


any ideas on how to get around this or another program to use would be of great help!

hmm..maybe try to make it with coral draw...I am not sure but I heard it can handle bigger images better than ps...good luck :)

hmmmm
why do you need the image to be that large?
is it possible to do it in two portions?
maybe you cant do it at that file size coz of some memory limitation...let us know
