Hey guys, do you have any basic tips on clone stamping (spelling)? Whenever I try to clone around the eyes or mouth, I always ended up with repeating of the lips, make sense? It's like I wanted to remove everything, but the end of the lip just got cloned and everything look sort of jagged.
Any replies to this is much appreciated, thanks in advanced.

Select a new part to clone oftenly.
Don't just do 1 long stroke, do multiple small strokes with different selections.

Also, it helps to clone onto a new layer. That is, sample from the old layer and clone onto the new layer.
Hold down alt to sample...using only the clone tool will give you bad results, use the heal and patch tool as well to get some good texture.
Also, dont do all this in like 1-2 layers, have many layers, it will give you more flexibility. Use blending modes to adjust the skin where necessary.
Sometimes you will have to sample from the cloned part itself, if thats the case, be sure to add a texture to the place you're sampling from, otherwise, the skin will seem unnaturally smooth
Also change the opacity of the brush you're cloning with where needed.....choosing the right brush is also a big part of the process

Thanks guy I have a font question, I know it's not related to this thread, but it beats opening a new one, you see I was trying to type something and the largest font size I could go to is 18 when I type in manuall 30 px a message popped up saying
"A value between 0.00 to 18.00 pixels is required. Closest value inserted" what is this? I could never go beyond 18 px something's wrong :(
type a number and then pt...like:
12 pt
you somehow changed the measure to pixel which I didnt know was possible :D

Hey Boozer thanks, but it fixed by itself, Photoshop has an awesome "sense of humor".
