Photoshop - History saved?

Is it posible to save your history on photoshop? (I have 7.0) and how? thx in advanced

but what you CAN do is retrace your steps through the history palette and crate an action

you can create an action by opening up the action pallette and create a new action by clicking on the appropriate icon(its an icon similar to the "create a new layer" icon in the layer palette) and click on the record button (which is also located on the actions palette) and just carry on doing what you want to.....it records EVERY you do....like the filters you use...the size of a box you may have drawn or even the name you give any layer

so since PS wont let us save history, the best thing to do IMO is to backtrack your history and make an action out of it and u can save it for later use

PS: read up on the actions in the PS help coz i havent included some of the finer details...the PS help is detailed enough
