You all should check out http://www.layerit.com/ . Iv been working with it for a while and I, as a pure designer, like it a lot. Im not much into coding, therefore layerit is perfect for me - im thrilled! I just love it! Now I can focuse 100% on design and dont mind problems with coding.
You should check out the demo and try it out. The demo will give you an impression of how it works. This is soo the future, atleast for us who arent that skilled when it comes to coding :P

I guess everyone has their own preferences, but if you're particular about valid code, I suggest not using tools.

If you really have to use a tool, I'd say go for Chami's HTML-Kit (http://chami.com/html-kit/) because it has the W3 arrpoved HTML-Tidy tool and it's free.

LayerIT CMS - the next generation web publishing tool - a tool based on movable layers.

Movable layers... yeah.. because Quark and InDesign don't have those...

i personally use chami's HTML-KIT and find it really easy to use.
Come on people its free, easy to use and it uses coding. I think its good because if you cant see the coding of a site ur building, then ur never gonna learn

I didnt try it out (dialups suck :S) but do you mean HTML layers???? Or some new concept?
If youre talking about Layers in HTML then I wll never use it :) Layers are not fully supported accross all browsers and I like to code for most browsers :)
