hey all,
yesterday I figured out this problem. I decided to visit reh3's stock gallery to see the new photographs and when I choose a gallery, I see images load but then they vanish, disappear or whatever you call it.

we tested that in other websites like istockphoto and microsoft and its the same. they load a part and it gets lost after its fully loaded while rest of the site stays there.

its is kinda hard to explain but if that happened to you before you know what I mean.

how can I fix that??????

reh3 stock: http://www.stock.reh3.com

select a gallery and watch it load the thumbnails. when its done, that area with thumbs get lost without a trace but rest of the site stays  for me.

Here's a quick and permanent fix:
Download Mozilla (http://mozilla.org) heh heh

Maybe try clearing your cache Boooozah? I think the path is Tools>Options and then use the delete button there.

That might solve it.
The only problem is that this will clear out your cookies, so the next time you login to GF from that browser, you will have to retype your password.

But if you download Mozilla, I can guarantee that you will never complain :D

I already tried cache and all Bane. Before we go berserk with IE do you have any more suggestions other than Mozilla?

thanks :)

Hmmm virus scan maybe? Update IE with one of MicroSoft's gazillion critical updates per day? or maybe you could goto Tools>Options> and goto the last tab and set the settings to default? Also try a reboot.

all are done except updating IE. thing is all those sites work fine for all other computers here but not the one that I'm working on. we looked for spywarez and all and cleared but nothing changed.

this is the weirdest problem I've ever seen.

tech guy will probably re-install windows and/or IE if we cant find a quicker solution.

tech guy installed a software called myIE 2 and it displays everything just fine but normal IE doesnt. somehow something happened but we both have no idea like you guys. anyway I'll use that myie to test the website I'm working on for them since it still uses IE interface with its additions.

anyway if anyone has any other ideas I'll keep checking this thread.
thanks,
