Crimes Against Art Is having an art contest!!!
The theme for this one is "the art of collage".
The best definition of collage I could find was "An assemblage of diverse elements". So you can interpret that, as you would like. The idea behind collage is to take various images and combine them to create something new. Traditional collage is usually done by cutting up images and then gluing them down to a canvas or paper. We will be taking a more broad approach, this show will be open to any type of artwork, (i.e. painting, digital art, mixed media, photography, sculpture, etc.) that fits the broad idea of collage, although the images, of course, will be submitted and shown digitally. Once all of the entries have been submitted I will determine which ones will be entered into the exhibit, which will be shown as a gallery on this site. Derek Hess will then judge the work, and a "Best in Show" prize will be given out.

2nd and
3rd place prizes will be provided by
