Turning GIF's into a GIF?

Hey guys first of all im new to this forum and im not what you would call an expert at graphics and what not, but i needed some help so i thought i might sign up to these forums, anyway onto the problem at hand.

I have made several animated GIFs and they are all saved as seperate files, but now i want to but them all into the one. Not so one frame replaces the other sort of thing but they are all next to each other on the one canvas, im using Adobe Photoshop CS2 v9.0 and Adobe Imageready v9.0 and i wanted to know if this was possible at all, and if so how can i do it?

Thanks in advance,
- James

[EDIT]: just fixed some bad spelling and grammar errors, lol.

Re: Turning GIF's into a GIF?

Since they're animated, it could get tricky. If one animation is 50 frames, while another is 60, you're going to have to find a common multiple of sorts. So in that example, you'd have an animation that's 300 frames. It would essentially have 6 loops of the 1st and 5 loops of the 2nd.

But that's just theory. In terms of actually combining the GIFs, I can't really help you. Sorry!

Re: Turning GIF's into a GIF?

Well its not nearly that many frames, one of them is 4 frames, another is only 3 but then again theres another thats 6, i want to combine these all onto the one canvas.

One is a drummer (4 frames) one is bass (3) and one is lead guitarist (6), i want to put them all onto a stage together but dont want to re-drawn all of them, especially the drum kit.

And yes i know im trying to be very half-arsed.

So basically, your combined animation will end up being 12 frames long. The drummer will repeat 3 times, the bass will repeat 4 times, and the lead guitarist will repeat 2 times.

Probally best to just create a new one, with one animation.
